Self-wound laminates
Various PP and PET laminates act as a protective screen that protects the label or packaging from external factors: wear due to friction, condensation, UV light, or weather conditions. Cold laminating self-wound films, no matter what type and thickness, look very aesthetically pleasing. They are highly transparent and can be glossy, matt or matt with a Soft Touch effect, making them very pleasant to the touch.
In addition to the above properties, these laminates are extremely easy to process. Adhesives are certified by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in the food industry and have more significant economic benefits over traditional backing laminates. With no backing, less or no waste is generated, making self-wound laminates more environmentally friendly.
Some of them are suitable for thermal printing.
